Defining Minds
Alicia received her Bachelors from The Ohio State University and Nova Southeastern University . Her area of expertise is with the treatment of Auditory Processing Disorders, related disorders and learning disabilities. Alicia Anfossi is a Handwriting specialist, a Clinician in Visualizing and Verbalizing, Seeing Stars, On Cloud Nine Math and Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing, a Practitioner in Integrated Listening Systems, and a Cognitive Trainer in (PACE) Processing and Cognitive Enhancement, and (MTC) Master the Code.
Alicia has focused on working with students that have been diagnosed with ADD/HD, Asperger’s and Autism for the past 6 years. She has recently been seen twice this year on Channel 7 news (WSVN) , on her successes with ADHD and Autism at her center. Her center has made such a change on many students that they made her story the feature of the night. Alicia was also just seen on The Art Of Living TV show with Mari Lou Henner as an expert on how the brain can change using different Cognitive Skills to help children succeed without being medicated. She has recently owned the Learning Rx Center in Boca Raton and now is the Founder of Defining Minds.
She is very passionate and dedicated to providing a healthy space for children to grow and learn. Alicia is a member of the Broward and Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce as well as the Autism Speaks Foundation and the Unicorn foundation, and the Big Brother and Big Sister Foundation. Alicia enjoys contributing her time to fundraisers throughout the year.

Dr. Jeffrey Goidel, PH.D
Licensed Psychologist PY 7618
Dr. Goidel is a licensed psychologist as we as a certified school psychologist in NY and Florida. He received his undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude, From Adelphi Univervisty in Garden City NY. He received a doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. He completed his internship training at the Child Guidance Center, Costa Mesa, California and the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine / Neuropsychology at Northridge Hospital.
Dr, Goidel has over 2 decades of experience working with children, teens and families in public school and private clinical practice. Dr. Goidel works with youngsters and families on issues including anxiety, social problems, depression, grief/loss, divorce/ separation, peer pressure, school problems, learning disability and ADHD. He provides assessment, therapy and psychological testing. He has been a faculty member in psychology at Monroe College, New York City, and Long Island University, Rockland Campus. Dr, Goidel is an expert witness in the Rockland County, NY court system and has consulted to such community agencies as the association for Retarted Children, United Hospice, Legal Aid and Child Protective Services.
